The Damitols formed in 1997 and played shows on and off until 2001 or so. Adam was our singer until “Learn to Drive.” Will was our drummer until about 1999. Brian was our drummer after that. GB played drums for a couple of shows, and Dustin played keyboards at practice once.

We recorded this at Laser Trax in the summer of 1998. Our singer, Adam, couldn’t come to Laser Trax that day, so we had to decide who our new singer was going to be. It ended up being Stevan, and that was a really good decision! We recorded the whole thing in a couple hours, except for some of the lead guitar parts, which were recorded a few weeks later using a toy Marshall amp.
